Bronchos News · Grant Fausset Brings Collegiate Experience to Lafayette Jeff

Grant Fausset, who has 15 years of collegiate basketball coaching experience, has been selected as the new girls basketball junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach, according to Lafayette Jefferson High School head girls basketball coach Andy Baker.

“We are extremely excited to have Grant and his family join our staff,” says Baker.  “He brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience to Lafayette Jeff, and we are looking forward to him getting started with our program.”

Fausset graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.  He completed his master’s degree in sports business management at the University of Alabama in 2017.  While an undergrad at Purdue, he worked with the women’s basketball program one year as a practice player before taking over in a student manager role in his last two years of college.

After his graduation from Purdue, Fausset served on the women’s basketball staffs at Purdue, Auburn, Texas Tech and Alabama.  Fausset was the director of women’s basketball operations at Alabama from 2013-18 and then relocated to Lafayette, Ind.

Fausset, a member of the STM Charters sales team with a focus on collegiate athletic team travel, lives in Lafayette with his wife, Lindsey, and their two daughters – Bellamy and Giana – and son, Tress.
