A trip to one of the most historic high school gyms in the country Saturday turned out favorable for the Lafayette Jeff Bronchos as they tallied an 85-62 win over the Muncie Central Bearcats.

With the victory, the Bronchos improved to 19-2 overall and 7-1 in the North Central Conference.  Lafayette Jeff will finish the regular season this week with a road game at Logansport Tuesday and a Friday night home game vs. Terre Haute North.

Against Muncie Central, the Bronchos were led by Indiana Mr. Basketball and Indiana All-Star candidate Brooks Barnhizer, who managed 37 points, 10 rebounds and six steals.  Ashton Beaver poured in 19, while Jahsiah Kirk-Williams added 10 and Armoni Williams scored eight.
