Bronchos News · Boys Basketball Improves to 21-2

After dominating early in the game, the Lafayette Jeff Boys Basketball team kept the pressure on the whole night and managed a 71-44 homecourt win over Terre Haute North.

With the victory, the Bronchos completed the regular season with a 21-2 overall record and a 8-1 mark in the North Central Conference.

Lafayette Jeff jumped out to a 13-1 lead and ended the first quarter with a 16-5 advantage.  That lead grew to 40-15 at halftime behind the 18 first-half points from Brooks Barnhizer.

Barnhizer led the team with 25 points in the game, while Ashton Beaver added 21 and Jacob Collicott scored 15.

The Bronchos will face Marion Tuesday night at the Marion Sectional in a 6 p.m. contest.  Tickets are available at the Lafayette Jeff Athletics Office for $6 per person.
