Lafayette Jefferson High School

Yesterday (12/12/2023), Lafayette Jefferson High School had the privilege of celebrating three outstanding senior student-athletes who are continuing their journey through athletics and education. Miles Williams, Garrett Rainey, and Jade Weise all signed their NLIs to their respective colleges. Miles and Garrett are standout baseball players for the Broncho Baseball team and have contributed to the success of the program as a whole. Miles committed to Wabash College. Garrett committed to Indiana Tech. Our third athlete, Jade Weise, is a three sport athlete who dominates in competition but most importantly is a fearless competitor. Jade committed to IUPUI for track & field. Last year Jade qualified for the state championships in Long Jump and has been a sectional champion and conference champion in long jump. While these athletes are committed to their continued athletic experiences after high school, the three of them are ready to give it their all in their final seasons as Bronchos. Miles and Garrett will continue to dominate on the baseball diamond. Jade will continue to dominate in the gym this winter and on the track in the spring. We cannot thank these three athletes enough for how proud they make the Lafayette community.
